Juventus seek Tottenham loan talks for Keane

Juventus want to bring Tottenham striker Robbie Keane back to Italy.Gazzetta dello Sport says Juve are chasing the former Inter Milan forward for the January market.Juve GM Beppe Marotta hopes to set up a loan deal for Keane, who is well down in the striker's pecking order at White Hart Lane.The Bianconeri have the spending power to cover Keane's wages for six months and see him as an ideal foil for centre-forwards Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta .

One day last week, near the junction of Maude Street and Rivonia Road, in the Johannesburg suburb of Sandton, a line of smiling young men in shirts and shorts strolled along the pavement towards their hotel. Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben, Robin Van Persie, Dirk Kuyt, Mark Van Bommel and the rest of the Dutch squad waited at the lights until there was a break in the traffic and then ambled across the road. These were some of the best known players in the world, superstars of the game, walking along city streets on their way back from training and looking as though they did not have a care. 2010 Soccer Year In Review: The Highs and Lows

As yet another fantastic year of football comes to an end, I took a look at what made this years highlight reel. Match Of The Year Tottenham 3-1 Inter Milan What a bloody match. As debutants of the worlds finest European competition, Spurs were paired with last years champions Inter Milan, FC Twente and Werder Bremen. They were not expected to progress from the group. But, as we have come to learn since September, Spurs can take on anyone on their day and they defied the odds to top their group, only losing once in the process. This match was the return fixture of that fateful night at the San Siro, with the presence of a certain Mr Bale earning credibility for Spurs. Bale was again phenomenal in this match at White Hart Lane, setting up two and starring in a rather marvelous performance to beat Inter Milan.
