Double blow for Toffees

Everton have suffered a double blow with the news that Louis Saha and Victor Anichebe face longer spells on the sidelines. Saha has been missing with a calf problem since the defeat at Aston Villa four weeks ago, while Anichebe has yet to feature this season due to a knee injury.France international Saha is facing a further three weeks on the sidelines as he struggles to shake off his injury and he has returned to his homeland to receive treatment."He goes to a facility in France to get treatment and be looked after and I think it will be two to three weeks before he is available," said Everton boss David Moyes.

Surgery

To add to Moyes' problems, Anichebe has been forced to undergo surgery to repair a troublesome knee injury which is likely to keep him out of action for at least six weeks."He had an operation yesterday which will keep him out for six weeks or so," said Moyes. Fulham v Everton. Click here to bet.
