Its only been two games in the Premier League and one in the Europa League, but Manchester City keeper Joe Hart has continued his dominating form and has yet to give up a goal in his first three matches. Manchester City were quite brilliant on Monday night at Eastlands as they passed their way through the Liverpool defense on way to a 3-0 home win.

As good as City were moving forward in attack through wingers Adam Johnson and debutante James Milner, Hart was equally as impressive through the night but specifically when he kept out multiple quick fire attempts from Steven Gerrard (who hit the post) then David Ngog and finally Fernando Torres in another commanding performance.

Whether or not City can challenge for the title this year is yet to be seen and will depend on Roberto Mancinis tactics away from home. If the Italian elects to go for it, City are as deep as any team in the league and have extra quality in almost every position. Here is a short list of players who were left out or on the bench for City on Monday night:

David Silva, Emmanuel Adebayor, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Shay Given, Pablo Zabaleta, Patrick Vieira, Jo and Mario Balotelli to name a few.

Pretty impressive if you ask me.

As a United fan with no real ingrained dislike or hatred toward City, Im almost looking forward to seeing what they can do this season. Keyword almost.
